Grow in God’s Word

Knowing the Story of Scripture

The Bible Training Institute (BTI) is UBC’s nine-month, church-wide journey through the whole Bible.

Led by our pastors and open to every member, BTI walks through most books verse by verse, with others covered in a guided overview.

Our prayerful desire is to teach the whole counsel of God from Genesis to Revelation, with varying degrees of depth, across two semesters.

Together, we seek to worship and follow the Lord with joy as we learn, believe, and delight in His Word.

  • Old Testament: On Tuesday and Friday mornings (6:15 am-7:45 am), John Henderson and Mike G will teach through the Old Testament.

  • Wisdom Literature: On the first, third, and fifth Thursday morning (6:15 am-7:45 am) of every month, Stephen Martin and Cole Penick will teach through the Wisdom Literature.

  • New Testament: On Monday and Wednesday mornings (6:15 am-7:45 am), Nick Roark and Scott Bielinski will teach through the New Testament.

These classes are held in Heritage Hall.
  • Join Us This Fall: Romans

    Join Us This Fall: Romans

For the fifth year of BTI, we plan to enjoy a slower-paced walkthrough of a single book of the Bible.

The pastors of UBC will teach through Paul's Letter to the Romans on Wednesday mornings (6:30 am-7:45 am). Our prayerful desire is to equip the saints to know how to study Scripture inductively.

Registration will soon be open for the '26-27 Fall/Spring year.

If you have any questions, contact Nick Roark, Associate Pastor of Membership and Adult Equipping.
