Trained for Ministry

We believe training in the local church is how God equips Christians for every kind of ministry. Seminaries and other programs are wonderful aids. But they are supplementary to the work with which the church has been tasked. 

As members gather around God's Word, they are shaped in both character and competency, learning to teach, serve, lead, evangelize, and care for others within the body. 

At UBC, we desire to be a greenhouse for ministry. We raise and train the next generation of pastors, leaders, missionaries, counselors, and faithful Christians. We believe the local church is the most important place where Christians are formed and from which they are sent.
