Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer. -Romans 12:12 (CSB)

Be.Steadfast Prayer Guide
Paul prays for the believers in Thessalonica that the Lord would direct their hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ. In the closing exhortation to Timothy of his first letter, Paul calls him to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, and gentleness. The author of Hebrews speaks of God’s promises being a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul. Then to the Colossian believers – a call to continue steadfastly in prayer; to be occupied diligently with prayer; to be persistent and consistent in prayer. This is a great word and a great focus for UBC in her prayer – be steadfast.
