What To Expect

Whether you’ve grown up in church all your life, or have never been to church before, we hope you feel welcomed at UBC and encounter the truth of God’s Word and the love of God’s people.

Navigating our Campus

We are located in the heart of Fayetteville, just west of campus and north of Dickson street. We love being in the heart of the city, but because our campus is built into the side of one of Fayetteville’s beautiful rolling hills, our campus can be a bit tricky to navigate. Take a minute to look at our campus map. As a visitor, you’re welcome to park in any of our parking lots. When you arrive, you can look for our friendly parking and greeting team for directions to the Main Hall.

Service

Our service runs about 90 minutes long, so we usually wrap up around noon. Our service focuses on congregational worship through song, prayer, the public reading of scripture, and preaching of the Word. Our services are structured intentionally to reflect the themes being presented in the sermon. Our service follows a traditional structure, but we value the time we get to spend giving praise to God, our Father through the different elements of our service.

People

We are a diverse congregation, so you can expect to find a wide range of people in different seasons of life and from different backgrounds. Even the way we dress varies significantly; some people choose to be more formal, but most choose to dress casually. The people are friendly, and we love having guests and visitors join us for the service. It’s not uncommon for people to still be talking and fellowshipping with one another in the Main Hall long after the service has ended.

Childcare

We offer childcare during our 10:30 service for children ages 12 weeks-4 years. For details about childcare, visit our child care information page HERE or read about our children’s ministry HERE.
